To practice as a Respiratory Therapist, you must pass certification exams and obtain licensure. Here’s what you need to do:

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
The CRT credential is the first level of certification in respiratory therapy, demonstrating proficiency in essential patient care skills.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
The RRT credential is the highest level of certification for respiratory therapists, required for advanced practice and specialized roles.
