About HEAL
HEAL (Healthcare Employment Advancement in Louisiana) is a statewide initiative dedicated to strengthening Louisiana’s healthcare workforce by connecting individuals with the education, training, and career opportunities they need to succeed. Through strategic partnerships with key organizations—including the Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC), Louisiana State Board of Nursing (LSBN), Louisiana Nursing Home Association (LNHA), Louisiana Board of Regents (BOR), and Louisiana Department of Health (LDH)—HEAL enhances labor market insights, expands employer engagement, and streamlines pathways into high-demand healthcare careers.
To support these efforts, HEAL introduces the HEAL-Navigator AI Tool, an intelligent, AI-powered platform designed to help job seekers, students, educators, and employers navigate Louisiana’s healthcare industry with confidence. HEAL-AI provides real-time data on job trends, credentialing requirements, and workforce shortages, making it easier to identify career opportunities, access relevant training, and align skills with industry needs. By leveraging data-driven strategies and strong partnerships, HEAL empowers individuals to earn certifications, secure employment, and advance their careers—ultimately strengthening the healthcare system across Louisiana.
